The new Xcaliber RT 5 Wood Golf Shafts' unique designs feature a 1/2 flex softer upper section and a stiff lower section unlike any typical 65 gram or heavier driver shafts. Designed with new, high-strength materials, this upgrade provides an even more consistent shaft for players looking to regain distance without sacrificing stability or feel.

But that’s not all.

The re-designs were undertaken to further improve the stiffness distribution along the length and rotational consistency around the diameter of the shafts.

And we’ve implemented another industry first — 100% frequency inspection at 0 and 90 degrees of both the butt and lower sections of the woods. This goes beyond the single-point butt frequency inspection that other companies perform.

With our never-ending approach to continuous improvement, it took over a year of re-designing and testing before we were satisfied that the performance and consistency was even better than the original model.

The RT 5 Wood Golf Shaft is also extremely versatile. We’ve fitted everyone from elderly ladies with slow swing speeds to scratch golfers swinging up to even 105 mph. Yet all have told us this is the straightest shaft they’ve ever hit.

If you have a slow swing speed, you should expect a medium to medium-high ball flight without excessive spin. This will help you maximize distance.

If you’re a low handicapper who swings fast, you should expect a medium to penetrating ball flight without excessive spin. The outcome will be more distance with greater accuracy.

Standard Trim Instructions:

• 0 in. for driver, 1/2 in. for 3-wood, etc.; max 1.5 in.

Experienced Club Makers:

• A maximum for any head is 2 in., providing the bore depth does not exceed 1.5 in.
