A Favorite Made Even Better! Performs like the more expensive, top-tier shafts. Unique stiffness distributions for each flex maximizes distance and control. For golfers with medium to slightly quicker tempos/transitions and swing speeds up to 105 mph. (Continued Below)
Model/SKU Number | Flex | Recommended Swing Speed (Driver mph) | Trajectory | Weight | Length | Butt Diameter | Tip Diameter | Parallel Tip Section | Torque |
CL-RT6-A | A | 65-75 | Mid/High | 60 | 46" | .600" | .335" | 3.5" | 3.6 |
CL-RT6-R | R | 75-90 | Mid | 62 | 46" | .600" | .335" | 3.5" | 3.6 |
CL-RT6-S | S | 90-105 | Mid | 64 | 46" | .600" | .335" | 3.5" | 3.5 |
Go Long, Stay Strong & in the Middle.
The new designs of the RT 6* shaft line have unique progressions and distributions of stiffness for each flex. The A-flex sports a soft-medium profile while the R-flex has a medium-stiff profile along their entire lengths. The S-flex features a medium-stiff profile along its full length but with a lower portion that is much stiffer.
To verify that every shaft we make performs as designed, we conduct 100% frequency inspections at 0 and 90 degrees of both the butt and lower sections of the woods, an industry first. Other companies only frequency test a single point on the butt.
If you have a slow to medium swing speed in the 75-95 mph range with a slower to medium transition/tempo, using the A- or R-flexes expect a medium to medium-high launch without excess spin. This combination will help you hit longer, more controlled shots.
If you attack the ball aggressively and your swing speed is 95-105 mph, when using the S-flex expect a slightly lower launch without excessive spin. This will allow you to maximize distance and optimize control.
Standard Trim Instructions:
- 0 in. for a driver, 0.5 in. for a 3-wood, etc.; max 1.5 in.
Experienced Club Makers:
- A maximum for any head is 2 in., providing the bore depth is sufficient.
Note: Trimming instructions are not set in stone (as many companies will maintain). Rather they are a basic guide for assembly.
Experimentation is definitely allowed and even encouraged once one has experience with the performance of any Xcaliber shaft.
