A SuperLite shaft that feels and plays like a much heavier shaft. Medium to medium-high ball flight maximizes distance without sacrificing control. Fits a variety of golfer profiles who swing up to 100 mph with smooth to medium tempos/transitions.

Get Ready to Say “Whoa!”
Using a new approach to filament winding, the new Xcaliber SuperLite Hybrid Golf Shaft delivers the longest, most stable and consistent flight of any super lightweight shaft in the industry. All while feeling like a much heavier shaft through-out the swing. Its slightly stiffer upper section and slightly weaker lower section also maximize feel, distance and control.
Most shaft companies design hybrid shafts by simply making their iron designs longer - not a sound design nor testing protocol. The new Xcaliber SuperLite Hybrid Golf Shaft was designed and tested to optimize the performance of hybrid heads specifically. It also features one of the lowest balance points in the market. By addressing this often-overlooked design principle, we’ve made it possible for you to get maximum distance and control while easily launching your ball from any lie.
The first of its kind, this unique shaft fits a variety of golfer swing profiles who swing their driver up to and over 95 mph with smooth to medium tempos/transitions.
Expect a medium to higher launch without excessive spin for maximum distance and control.
Standard Trim Instructions:
- 5 degree - 0 in.
- 18 degree - 0.5 in.
- 21 degree - 1 in.
- 24 degree - 1.5 in.
- 27 degree - 2 in. (maximum tipping 2 in.)
After tipping, cut to final length from butt.
Experienced Club Makers:
- A maximum of 2.5 in. can be applied to any single clubhead if a progression of stiffness is not required
Note: Trimming instructions are not set in stone (as many companies will maintain). Rather they are a basic guide for assembly.
Experimentation is definitely allowed and even encouraged once one has experience with the performance of any Xcaliber shaft.
