In designing the Rapid Taper RTI105, 105 gram irons our goal was simple – to design a shaft that not only could compete…but beat the oft-mentioned performance and consistency of any of the heavier steel shafts on the market. After testing with primarily scratch to low-handicap players, the NEW Rapid Taper 105 gram shafts has proved that we have we met those lofty goals! Long-time steel player advocates have all been amazed at the length, feel and especially the consistency of these shaft designs. What’s more amazing and was unexpected is that golfers who swing speeds ranged from 100 to 125mph all reported the same results – a swing speed range for golfers unheard of….before now!
Standard Trim Instructions
- Tip cut 0.5" starting with the #4 iron to a maximum of 4.0" for wedges. Trim to length from Butt end of shaft.

Note 1: Trimming instructions are not set in "stone" - like King Arthur's sword! Rather they are a simple, basic guide for assembly.
