This Golf Shaft is Light But Strong
The Most Consistent Super Light Wood Shaft
When we designed the Xcaliber Tour SL Wood Shaft, we were adamant that it be lightweight but just as strong as our Xcaliber 6 and 6+ offerings. And for good reason.
When it comes to super lightweight shafts, many are not only lighter but also weaker—sometimes by an entire flex compared to a company’s standard offering. Evaluating zone frequencies along the length of competitor shafts has confirmed this.
Unique Lightweight Wood Shaft
Using our knowledge of geometry and design expertise, we not only succeeded—we made the most unique super lightweight shaft in the industry.
The first of its kind, the Tour SL Wood Shaft works best for golfers who swing up to 105 mph and have medium to slow tempos with medium to smooth transitions from the top.
If this is you, expect a medium to medium-high launch without the excessive spin seen with most lightweight shafts. If your swing is aggressive, you may need a stiffer flex than you’re used to.
Another option is the Xcaliber SWD50 Wood Shaft. It’s designed with the same upper and middle stiffness profile as the Tour SL Wood Shaft, but it has a much stiffer lower section. This will give you a medium to medium-low flight without excessive spin.
Butt cut to length.
