Stable Shaft with Extraordinary Swing

Stability with Extraordinary Feel

The constant weight 36 – 39 in. Xcaliber Taper Iron Shaft was specifically designed for the uniqueness of tapered tip iron heads.  Available in 75 g and 85 g models, it features a constant taper from tip to butt that starts right at the top of the clubhead. This design feature helps stabilize the shaft for enhanced control.

The line of shafts also features a progression in stiffness, torque and a lower balance point. This optimizes launch angle and spin as the shafts get shorter.

Good Option for Slow-Swinging Golfers

The Taper Iron Shaft is perfect for golfers who struggle to get their irons—especially longer ones—launched at the proper angle and spin for their individual swing speeds.

This makes it a great option for slow-swinging amateurs. The Taper Iron Shaft also works well for low handicap players who swing up to 100+ mph with tempo and transition ranges from slow to medium, but who aren’t overly quick and aggressive.

If you have a slower swing, expect a medium to high flight without too much spin. This provides the best opportunity for maximizing distance without excessive spin.

For faster swing speeds, expect a medium to boring ball flight without excessive spin rates. This enhances control while maximizing distance.

Note: Trimming instructions are not set in stone (as a lot of companies will maintain). Rather they are a basic guide for assembly. Experimentation is definitely allowed and even encouraged once one has experience with the performance of any XCALIBER shaft.
