Stable Shaft with Unique Design

Better Wood Play for Better Players

Have you tried super light weight shafts before with zero success? You’re not alone. Many golfers have endured the same struggle. We aim to change that with the Xcaliber SWD50 Wood Shaft.

Through our extensive research, we discovered that super ligh tweight shafts were not optimized for the high swing speeds and aggressive tempos / transitions of low-handicap players.

So we designed the SWD50 Wood Shaft with a stiffer upper and lower end, similar to that of our Xcaliber Pro T6 and T7.5 models. This allowed us to make the SWD50 Wood Shaft more consistent and stable to withstand the force applied by better players at impact. As the only shaft with this unique stiffness profile at this weight, the Xcaliber SWD50 is in a category all its own.

Golfers Gain More Distance with Superior Control

If you’re a skilled, low-handicapper with a fast swing speed, quick tempo and aggressive transition, you can expect to get medium to medium-high launch angles with much lower spin rates. The result? More distance and superior control.

Trim Instructions

Butt cut to length.

Experienced Club Makers:

A maximum of 1 in. may be carefully tipped, providing the head's hosel depth does not exceed 1.5 in.

Note: Trimming instructions are not set in stone (as a lot of companies will maintain). Rather they are a basic guide for assembly. Experimentation is definitely allowed and even encouraged once one has experience with the performance of any XCALIBER shaft.
